Ronald McDonald House Charities® New York Tri-State Area is governed by a Board of Trustees, comprising health professionals, business and civic leaders and McDonald’s corporate officers, owner/operators and suppliers. Our Board reviews, selects and awards grants to nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated an ability to respond to the needs of children in a manner that yields measurable results.
If you submit a COMPLETE application by the application deadline, you will receive a written acknowledgement of your submission, and you will be advised of the grant cycle in which your application will be reviewed. Incomplete applications, or the use of old, outdated applications, will result in an immediate removal from consideration. If we have questions regarding your grant application, you may receive a telephone call, email or a letter from us requesting further information.
All Board decisions on grant applications are communicated by mail. If your organization’s grant application is approved, your organization will receive a formal letter of agreement outlining the terms and conditions of the grant, which must be signed by an authorized organization official and returned to us. The grant award check will then be sent to your organization upon our receipt of your signed letter of agreement.

Complete grant applications postmarked by April 1 will be reviewed in June.
Complete grant applications postmarked by August 1 will be reviewed in October.
Complete grant applications postmarked by December 1 will be reviewed in February.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® New York Tri-State Area asks that appropriate recognition of our grant to your organization be given in the form of a plaque or other signage, a check presentation and/or press release.
